TEKS STATEMENT: Demonstrate safe practices during laboratory and field investigations. CONCEPT: Aquatic Scientists study life in all its forms. VOCABULARY Biosphere, Biodiversity, Species, Aquatic Science and Biology, Science LWS-Laboratory Safety, Field Safety.

Tutorial Days are Monday and Wednesday during Lunch in E- 208 times.
The Science Department Testing days are Monday/Thursday.
Quizzes, labs, homework, etc. can be scheduled on any day.
Where: Science Lab: B238, home, outdoors…etc

Class Supply: (DO NOT SPEND MORE THAN ONE DOLLAR ON THESE ITEMS) this is for extra credit and not mandatory)
1 container Clorox wipes, Gallon or quart size zip bags, Paper Towels 1 Roll,
OTHER: These are items we use regularly and could ALWAYS use more of!
Required Forms
Safety Contract, can be found on flynn websites. This form MUST be completed before students can participate in labs.

50% Major (tests, projects)
30% Lab and Quiz
20% Daily (homework, in-class work)

- College ruled composition note book (100 page or more)
- Pens and pencils
- There will also be expenses for your aquarium that you will be creating and maintaining ( If we Agree on it again this is only Voluntary and not Mandatory.
- Personal colored pencils, Scissors, Paints and brushes, markers, sharpies or other classroom material you may not want to share. We will discuss more details in class.
